BESTILLO Gönci Apricot Pálinka in Stoneware Bottle

There is a fruit with which our family has shared a special bond for nearly four decades.

The story of the Gönc Hungarian apricot began for us long before BESTILLO: as children, we picked the fruit in our parents' orchard, and today we tend to our own trees in Arka and Boldogkőváralja.

In 2022, we replanted our orchard on the hillside behind the Castle of Boldogkő. We planted over 6,000 trees—exclusively the Gönc Hungarian apricot variety—across six hectares.

We had originally intended to let the *pálinka* made from the first harvest age for a few more years; however, BESTILLO’s 20th anniversary is a special occasion, so we decided to make an exception for a limited batch of 600 bottles.

It is a special release that embodies our passion for the Gönc apricot, our love for the region, and the continuation of a long-standing story.
